FAQ   &  Policies

Below, you will find a selection of frequently asked questions, as well as detailed regarding the policies that I have in place for micro weddings, and photography sessions

Micro Weddings 

What if I am late with my payment?

There is a 48 hour grace period for late payments. After this period a $100 fee will apply to the late payment.  Just like a bank would have an NSF fee, I am only one person, so my income relies on your payments on the dates they are contracted to come out. This fee will be applied weekly for every week late without prior 2 week notice. Payments can be changed or moved if notified in a timely manner.

When is our first meeting for our micro wedding?

We typically schedule your initial micro wedding meeting during our slower winter months specifically in February- March of your wedding year. We reach out November to January to schedule these meetings for Feb-April. We aim to plan all of the meetings on the same date, as sometimes our vendors are from different parts of the province. We also provide your cake tasting box at this time, and this allows our baker to not waste her cakes since she makes it in bulk. This allows us to dedicate our full attention to you and every detail of the planning process. During this meeting, we aim to have your photographer, videographer, and planner present so you can meet your team for the day. The meeting is held at our studio located at 89 Canterbury St. #309 in Saint John. By planning these meetings in our slow, we ensure you receive the focused attention you deserve, just as we have given to couples in previous years.

How long is the turnaround after my micro wedding?

Your photo & videos are returned to you digitally within 12 weeks of your wedding date. your audio guestbook & photo booth photos will be returned digitally the week after the event. You also receive a custom USB safe keeping box with prints, and all your digital memories from your time with us! This is sent out January - March the year following your micro wedding. This allows me to fully focus on making your package memorable. as it usually ta

Can I add - on more guests?

In most cases yes, there will be an additional fee to pay per head for the cost of food, decor & labour for setup. this fee will be given during your vendor meeting in the winter. The last time slot also has the ability to purchase additional hours from the photographer & videographer, or without photo & video.

Will there be a rehearsal?

For most micros we aim to have a rehearsal the Friday before the micro wedding weekend to walk through your ceremony with you and anyone walking down the aisle. We will chat about this more and schedule a time after our first micro meeting.

What if I cancel?

ALL payments are non-refundable in the case of cancellation for ANY reason due to the client. If Glow Media were to cancel the micro wedding day a full refund will be issued.

Can I personalize things in my micro?

Of course! We allow lots of requests - from using your own officiant, florist, opting for a full catered meal, or removing the honeymoon stay. Certain things cannot be removed like decor, planning, photo & video. these choices to personalize will be brought up during our micro meeting in the first few months of the year of your micro.

Is there enough time? does it feel rushed?

it all depends. We have designed our micros around the feedback we receive from our previous brides. we increased our time slots from 1 hour to 2 hours to make sure you are calm, and things can be spaced out at an even pace.  There is time for the ceremony, first dances, eating and short speeches. each micro booklet contains a sample schedule of how the day flows. We usually rent an AirBnB nearby to have a space to get ready in for hair & makeup for you and your bridesmaids or friends. I plan everything to the minute and I deal with moving things along during your day so you just have to enjoy your time in the space and wait for me to guide you to your next fun part of your fully planned event. If you are a party crowd I typically recommend renting out a community centre for more dancing, reserving a restaurant is also a possibility, and renting and AirBnB or hosting a house party once your time is complete are all things couples in the past have suggested to future clients.

Can I make monthly payment instead of bi-monthly?

You most certainly can! every additional monthly payment has a debit/credit processing fee of an additional $10 per additional month. This fee is waived if using etransfer! 

Sessions & Website

How long do I have to wait to receive my photos?

All of my sessions have different wait times depending on the amount of photos or time taken. Check out my Client Queue Page for more information

What should I wear to my mini session?

I always recommend to stay away from patterns if possible. Depending on my theme, I usually find neutrals work best - think Beige, white, forest green, burnt oranges. Feel free to dress as you like, I just always suggest dressing simple to make your personalities pop.

What if I am sick for my session?

Your deposit can be used towards any service including a future mini - this does not expire. PLEASE do not come sick to my session - I know pictures are exciting and important, but deal with so many little ones, that you wouldn't only be putting myself at risk for getting sick, you will be putting numerous families and children by using the same space. I am very understanding and still want to make sure we get your memories at a later date!

You can upgrade your session from a mini to a full session if you have your heart set on that location - this covers my travel fees, and operating costs. I cannot accommodate studio minis at a separate date as there is a lot of setup included divided among the mini session pricing.

$375 - 40 minutes

$475 - 60 minutes

+$25 per head for extended family (family not in your immediate household)

You can also use the deposit in the form of a gift card and pay it forward to a friend.

 

Rescheduling due to sickness only applies twice. If canceled more than twice by the client, client must pay a new deposit.

How long is your website turnaround?

It depends on the package - typically it can take as short as 6 weeks and as long as 4 months depending on the complexity and package chosen.​​​​

When will I receive my full day wedding video?

You will receive your wedding full day edit video in Feb-March the following year of your wedding, after the season is over. This is because I wait until the wedding season is over to begin to work on this and the USB boxes due to the amount of attention to detail that is needed.  I want to ensure your forever memory is perfect! Your full day edit includes ceremony, grand entrance, speeches & first dances. Revisions must be requested within 14 days otherwise additional charges may occur with our editing company.

Do you offer gift certificates?

I no longer accept gift cards, my last gift certificates were sold in 2024, and are now expired, as they are valid for 12 months after purchase.
